Aren’t they lovely? And comfortable straight out of the box.
I nearly bumped into somebody because I was looking at my shoes instead of watching where I was going.

They look very pretty, DoraMarr.

jane10 ever since I got plantar fasciitis 2 years ago, I've been wearing Go Go max or Go Go Mat memory foam heel Skechers . They are fantastic, I can walk miles in them . I've got 6 pairs now. I only wear my proper shoes now when I get dressed up to go out.

I just bought a new pair of Skechers yesterday for my hols. They've got 'air cooled memory foam' soles. They might not look fantastic but wearing them is like walking on clouds. Wonderful!

I’m a bit late coming in here. Look at TOMS shoes - for every pair bought another pair is donated to the needy. What could be better for the soul.

Love your shoes Dora and the decking with Flower pot

My feet are my best feature.....(legs too skinny and marked).....can't wait to buy a neat pair of sandals for the summer - Skechers and clarks are my favourite

nannypiano I sympathise with you. My dodgy right hip and knee mean that I can no longer put on socks, or tie shoelaces. I have been wearing slip-ons for a while. It’s sad that you are stuck with your problem, while I am having a hip replacement on the 30th May. With luck I will be able to reach my feet again in a little while.
I would love to wear dainty fashionable shoes. I take a 4EE, and can’t wear heels since I broke my toe, years ago. It must be bliss to be able to just walk into a shop and know that you can fit into, and wear, whatever style you choose.

DoraMarr - you’re a proper twinkle toes now then wink

Envy here! They are gorgeous. Lovely shoes have always been important to me but plantar fasciitis in one foot and a bunion joint in the other (in spite of always wearing fairly sensible shoes, never stilettos, it's not fair!) means that I cannot wear some of my lovely shoes every day, I have to alternate with my 'sensible' lace-ups that have room for my plantar insoles.

Dora
I've shopped there. It's like an Aladins cave of shoes, isn't it grin

I have had to buy shoes with Velcro after a stroke and not able to manage other fastenings. I love nice shoes, good quality, so went on e bay and found Hotter shoes at very low prices. They start off at 50.00 generally and I bought three pairs for 30.00. Unworn. Ace, very happy.

They have moved on a long way.....
Finger troubles

I love FitFlops! They have on a long way since the early sporty looking toe-post sandals of years ago. They do all kinds of sandals, sneakers, flats, even boots these days. Not always cheap but they do have sales and they are soooo comfy!

I take a AA fitting shoe which is so difficult to buy now. I used to buy from 2 good on-line suppliers, but their styles have become so frumpy. Luckily I am very light on shoes so the ones I have last for ages.

I bought a pair of shoes in Barcelona a few years ago, and they were so comfortable I wish I had bought more. They now sell online: kokuabarcelona.com so I have bought four more pairs. BUT I already had a pair, so I knew what size to buy. I wouldn’t be so confident in buying shoes online otherwise. It’s a pity they don’t have an outlet here in the UK: there are two or three shops in Barcelona, but that’s all. I think Hotter do a similar style.

Saggi Thu 02-May-19 13:36:38

Dora Marr....Tell is where you got them

Marilla Thu 02-May-19 13:00:26

DoraMarr, what dainty feet you have. Sadly I can’t wear that style anymore. I love the ballet style of shoe.

I have terribly painful wide feet with arthritis, bunions, etc. I got a pair of FitFlops and love them. They make me feel I'm walking on air. Do try them. They often have sales and I try to stock up then.

Issie Thu 02-May-19 12:26:42

They are fabulous!

Grammaretto Thu 02-May-19 12:16:05

Someone told me about Hotter and I haven't taken my laceups off since, well hardly.
I have a wardobe full of shoes but alas if I need to walk, dance even stand I have to wear comfortable shoes.
Reiker are medium comfort but nice looking.
Your feet look great in those Dora

DoraMarr Thu 02-May-19 12:01:58

Dainty feet? You jest! I have huge bony spurs (not bunions, my chiropodist says) which means most shoes are really uncomfortable. I have found just a few brands that fit: the ones in the photo are Kokua, which I buy from their website, and they are shipped from Barcelona. Otherwise it’s Converse or Spring Court, and none of these are cheap! And I can’t wear heels at all now. My mother, 91, wears heels most of the time. I must have my father’s feet.

Annaram1 Thu 02-May-19 11:58:35

What the heck is RD? I just hate acronyms and never use them. This RD is a new one not in the acronyms list, so Olive you should have written out in full what RD means.
Thank you.

Marilla Thu 02-May-19 11:53:10

DoraMarr, what dainty feet you have. Sadly I can’t wear that style anymore. I love the ballet style of shoe.

JanaNana Thu 02-May-19 11:44:32

Willow500.
Same problems as you. Right foot half a size bigger and high insteps. Various shoes which felt comfy in the shop not so after a couple of wearings. Tend to go for Moshulu now for flat shoes and boots, but still struggle with sandals because of the high insteps, shall try some of the brand's that others are wearing.

whywhywhy Thu 02-May-19 11:06:48

They are lovely. I buy Hotters for comfort and sometimes I have been known to buy a pair of boots or shoes from Scorpio Shoes. www.scorpioshoes.com/
