Excess hair

Many years ago I had a gadget to remove excess hair. It was cylinder shaped and you had to insert it into each follicle. It tingled slightly and then the hair came out very easily. It was a permanent thing. Is this sort of thing still available and, does anyone else remember them?

yes I remember them , I think they were called laser pens or something like that, I think you can still get laser hair removal devices ( probably have them in Boots) though I suspect they won't be cheap.

I personally use an epilator which only pulls the hair out by the roots, but it's adequate for my needs
