I have a single front tooth on a 'flipper', but it is not really flexible except slightly when placed in hot water, which I do after cleaning, before replacing. I sleep and eat in it.
If feel sure you will be able to keep yours in for eating, surely nobody would provide something which had to be removed.
I don't like my new tooth ( my tongue won't leave it alone), but can't justify the cost of an implant. For eating I tend to cut hard food into fingers or strips to avoid biting on it.
I hope you get on with your TCS one, it sounds preferable to a rigid one.
