I need some new bras. Browsed the M&S website, very disappointed to see that the ones I bought last time have disappeared. Just want plain, white, unpadded, no wires, cotton.

BTW, what is a ‘bralette’?

M and S seem to have stopped keeping the super selection of bras they used to. I have been getting the sort of M and S bras I like from ebay sellers.

Bralettes: pretty but no support whatosever.

I have a mastectomy and always got post surgery bras from M&S, had a good selection, especially pack of 2 underwired which i like at a good price. When i look at their bras now have a choice of 3 and horrible. M&S have definitely gone downhill and at this rate the next to go bust unless they get their act together.

If you know your measurements ( if not there are good guides online) some of the best bras I have had have been from Avon. Amazon are also good.

Bravissimo have a good selection.

They seem to have cut right down on their range and no longer do the ones I like that fitted well.

the next to go bust unless they get their act together.

Have a look on EBay for M&S bras. They are authentic M&S but have been bought up as end of lines stock.
On average about £10.

Are you sure you can't get the M and S bra online?

I am interested in this thread too because I have just returned 2 bras to John Lewis which I bought online. I measured so carefully but neither fitted.
I don't know what to do now because presumably you can't try on bras in shops anymore and anyway I haven't been to a clothes shop for 6 months. My DH is shielding.
Thanks for the ebay suggestion.

They sell what sells best, I’ve recently bought some of the most comfortable bras I’ve had in years, from M&S, but only because I went outside my comfort zone and chose something different. There’s actually loads of choice, and the quality is still good, it’s just that designs move on and we have to as well, or be disappointed.

The last 2 bras I've bought from M&S have developed the same fault; the hooks and eyes worked loose and after only a couple of washes, have come out completely on one of them.

Plain, white, unwired, non scratchy cotton is what I have always bought from m&s. Couldn't find them, so this time I bought this www.marksandspencer.com/body-smoothing-longline-plunge-bra-a-e/p/clp60226646?color=WHITE
Not cotton, but very comfortable and I have ordered more in different colours.
