Sorry just noticed your post Bixiboo. We probably are talking about the same jeans.

I got lovely Robell stretchy denim pull ons ankle length with broad band at ankle. I love them. Elasticated waist, legs are slim so going up a size will still have neat legs. Not cheap £80 but a good buy. Will wear a lot.

Have just bought some Robell jeans in their Rose range. They are designed to fit at the waist but have a slimmer leg. Not cheap but lovely quality and fit.

Try Joules or Marks and spencer but buy low rise so they do not have to come up to your waist I have the same problem a bit like a toffee apple, skinny legs, no bottom but a stomach like an apple and no waist. Otherwise like others have said half elasticated.
As for bras I buy Freya or Fantasie I usually get a few different ones online at John Lewis then I can send them back after trying on without showing myself up. I think M&S is also stocking them now online.

Try maternity jeans, they will have a good stretch band around the waist but normal fit elsewhere.
I buy Wacoal bras, expensive but super comfortable.

junie1 do you sew? I make all of my clothes including jeans and bras so they fit exactly how I choose. The one thing I hate in life is going to a store to try on clothes, it's the pits, imho.

If you are interested I can probably help with pattern numbers for different styles in jeans, but for bras I prefer to use an old, comfy bra as the pattern because you know it will fit.

Can't help with the jeans. I can recommend Royce for bras though. I don't like underwired bras, and recently bought a new from them. They specialise in non wired bras. I used their fitting guide, and the bra I chose fits perfectly.

Obviously not for everyone, but since I've put on a bit of weight around the middle I'm enjoying wearing dungarees. No waistband to worry about so you can just concentrate on the fit of the leg. Seasalt and Fatface are good for them.

Also, have you tried Sainsbury's? Lots of stretchy jeans there.

I buy all elastic waistbands as I have the same problem. Also make sure the fabric is stretch. The elastic waist allows often to go down a size.
Not jeans, but Robell trousers are great for this problem. All stretch and no waistband. They are rather expensive but can often be found in the sales. Still not cheap but I’m glad to have them. If you are near a Dunnes Store they do their own version of these very reasonably. Around £25. Last year I got 2 pair white ones in the sale for £5 each.

I’m afraid I’m not much help as I shop online. I wear Weird Fish jeggings as I struggle to cope with zips and buttons one handed. Awkward if you need the loo in a hurry!

Hi Everyone
Just been out to try and get comfy jeans, yes I have put weight on round my waist, the problem I have is if I get the waist that fits me, the bottom and legs are too baggy ?
Also bras I used to get the M&S T-shirt plunge bra, but you have to buy a pack of 2 one white and one black, I am not keen on the white ones. Do you know of any comfy supportive bras with a bit of lift. Any advice with the jeans would be great.
Many thanks
Junie
