Pink covers so many shades and it can be flattering to older skin. I’m a paleface and although I love strong colours they make me look washed out.

I love dusky pink and silver grey.

I wear a fair amount of pink (all the way from pale to shocking). Always a feel good factor. Mine are ancient. Haven't bought a new item for over two years now and still love what's already in the wardrobe. Long may that continue.

I love bright pinks- cerise or fuchsia. Pale pinks make me look washed out.I've got a couple of tops that people always seem to notice and comment on. A lot of the time it's about how the colour cheers you up.

Some mail order companies always seem to have several items in pink, especially this time of year.
I love all shades of soft green - sage, khaki etc and as I am plus sized, I can always find something in these shades at Yours in store and online.
Have you tried Bon Marche?, Matalan ? M&Co? This is the right time to look as certainly pink is classed as a spring colour.

I’m another fan of pink, though I’m wearing purple at the moment.

I love pink too, and one of my indulgences after my husband died was to buy myself pink duvet sets which are uplifting, so pink is the first thing I see in the morning. I’ve got a pink sweatshirt I wear on dismal winter days too.

I haven't had anything pink for ages but I've always liked the colour.

Nina Mishkoff is a good example of someone who always wears pink (at least when she's on tv)

Years ago I was given a Colour Me Beautiful consultation. Being a ginger I always wore rust or sage which I thought were the right colours for me but I never looked good in them. CMB showed me that I have Spring colouring - cream and pastel shades so I looked for those colours. They weren't in fashion so not much choice in the shops.

Prior to this people would admire what I was wearing rather than saying I looked good. Following the change of colours people would admire me, rather than just my clothes. I'm conscious that what I've just written sounds as though I was full of myself, but it was true.

The way CMB works is to drape one with large scarves of a range of colours. You should not be wearing makeup. If you see it being demonstrated on another person you can clearly see how the skin brightens with some colours and looks dull with others.

Of you have a wardrobe of clothes that you think don't quite suit you, chose a scarf or a shirt in a colour that does suit you so that it is next to your skin. Always works.

My DH made the comment nursing home pink and here comes Agnes[Mrs Brown's boys a programme he purports not to watch].When I wore pink.
I am not listening and starting to buy pink cardigans and I shall continue to do so. Rohan man can go run.
I do think it matters the style of the cardigan and what you wear it with. I look at the more expensive ranges then try something of a similar shape and hue.
I think my downfall was the checked grey trousers.
This morning Ursula Von Leyden looked very chic in a pale pink jacket with a black top and trousers.
I'll drink to Lily the pink.wine

I'm a huge fan of pink and share your opinion. Pink is lovely.
Pink is uplifting. We need more pink! Three cheers for pink.

I wear most shades of pink, and get stuff from charity shops. I don’t dress “olds despite being 74.

I am NOT talking about sugar pink!

I find so many shades: salmon/rose pink/old rose/deep rose etc., do more favours to my greyish complexion than boring old grey, navy blue and black which the clothes proders expect our generation to wear.

Why are there not more clothes in shades of pink on option for my age group (plus seventy?

PS: I like to couple it with soft shades of brown such as taupe/coffee/chocolate. These are also difficult shades to find on the clothes market. As are shades of green like sage, mint and moss green.

Am I the only one with this moan?
