I think she’s lovely, very natural and serene. A real asset to the slimmed down RF.

Joseanne

Sophie (and Edward) planted a tree in our Junior school garden. The visit was of no educational value, but the children named it Sophie's tree and anyone who was feeling sad or left out could go and sit on the bench under it. I remember Sophie talked kindly to the children and made the visit all about them. She was very natural.

Sounds to me that the children learned a lot that day ?

I like her style too. I can’t do high heels any more and wonder how the royals especially Duchess of Cambridge manage to do so. Especially on visits when they are on there feet a lot. Have to admire them for it though.

I like Sophie and she dresses beautifully.

DH has met her and said she was lovely. She was happy to chat to the youngsters and seemed very friendly and natural. Also she's tiny so probably needs high heels!

Sophie looks lovely in her dress and what on earth is wrong with the shoes! I think she is a very kind person and has a special relationship with the Queen. I remember pictures of her and the Queen riding together.

Baggs

Yes, very elegant. Still stupid shoes though.

They look like L K Bennet a favourite of the Royals.

I have a couple of pairs of their high heeled courts and they are extremely comfortable.

Apparently a peplos was a tunic in Ancient Greece and the women used to add a frill to dress it up a bit. I'm guessing a peplum hem can be put anywhere on a garment though it is most usual to see it on tops.

I think Sophie is lovely she just quietly goes about her business. The dress is gorgeous on her, she has a very natural but classy style.

I thought a peplum was a frill round the waist, but I am no fashion expert.

I think they look great on the right shape, but I wouldn’t wear one as it would emphasise my hips.

A lot of the summer dresses this year have a frill around the bottom sitting on the knees. I think it's called a peplum. It gives a bit of swish round the leg.

She dresses beautifully. In my opinion so much better than most of the royals and the styles would suit the majority of women and hide a few pounds.

I adore that style of address (my overfilled wardrobe can verify that)

The Countess always looks immaculate and extremely serene, I have a feeling that she is a very calm and kind person.

I think Edward was lucky to marry her, wouldn’t think he would have been everyone’s choice.

It's a lovely frock. She dressed beautifully and seems to be very kind and unassuming. Lovely to the Queen apparently.

Did you watch tonight's seeing bee Blossoming? There were some nice classy wrap over dresses, neither fussy nor skintight.

I’m not one for frills and fripperies but I do love a nice frock. This is so much better than the skintight scratchy fussy ones worn by many celebs.
