I got some from M&S too. They are big pants with a control panel on the tummy area. Seem to do the trick.

I wear under dresses a Medium control full slip from m & s, so much more comfortable and smooths out the lumps and bumps…..I can’t get on with waist clinchers etc, such a job to pull on.

Personally, I would go along to an independent lingerie wear specialist, there's quite a few popping up nationwide following the demise of many big stores closing down or stopping the service. You will be properly measured and be able to try in various garments to find what best suits your needs.

Hi all I'm looking for some good shapewear (not too expensive) to go under a dress for a wedding I'm attending this year. I'm a size 16/18, 5ft 6 and have a large belly.
I have just read a thread on here about shapewear from 2018, with most people saying don't bother, so uncomfortable and two women had even fainted!
