Hello
I’m thinking about buying this dress.
Which print do you prefer?
I can’t decide…
Thank you!

PS if we have a Gransnet meeting we'll recognise each other because we'll all be wearing the same dress!

Nice dress FannyC, but why do they make those funny length sleeves?
(Mind you I do quite fancy the blue one).

It's so they don't get wet when you do the washing up, Auntieflo

I have several Seasalt dresses and love them. Both patterns are attractive Fanny but I think the russet colourway is a good choice for autumn /winter. I've ordered Seasalt ankle boots and knee boots. They will be delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed they will fit smile

Fanny
I don’t see you in those colours. You have a bright spirit.
I can see you in this material I’ve just bought.

We wear bright colours to freshen our souls smile

A quote I've just heard from a Zoroastrian woman in Iran on why they don't wear black. It was a PBS America programme about the Silk Road.

Beechnut

I think the leafy one maybe out of stock by the end of the day ?

Yes, I was just thinking I need a dress.

I only own two neither of which I like much ?

Callistemon21 Fri 16-Sept-22 14:56:59

(^I have dyed auburn hair, a bit like that of my namesake’s^)

Sorry, missed that.
I'd choose the darker print

Callistemon21 Fri 16-Sept-22 14:55:33

I think it depends on your colouring.
A blue-eyed fair haired person might suit the flowery one.

I'd choose the darker print myself as I've got dark hair.

Witzend Fri 16-Sept-22 14:51:43

The leafy one. I’m not a flowery type, though.

Esmay Fri 16-Sept-22 14:45:44

I prefer the seaweed one as the other is more summery .

If you like both and can't decide - opt for the two !

Seasalt clothes are good quality and always muted in colours .

MrsKen33 Fri 16-Sept-22 14:08:34

I like the blue one bestFanny . But I don’t wear dresses much, but have several Seasalt tunics.

Forgot to say my sea salt dress had pockets too.
They really are useful aren’t they.

SunshineSally Fri 16-Sept-22 13:57:41

Anything that has pockets - proper deep pockets - is always a win win with me ?

Just back from a long walk with DDog - I’m more knackered than he is! ?

silverlining48 Fri 16-Sept-22 13:56:59

Please Ignore smother you and all the nices.

silverlining48 Fri 16-Sept-22 13:55:49

I was in Cornwall earlier in the summer and ventured into sea salt and bought a very nice navy linen dress which comes below my knees ( am 5’1) sort of midi and doesn’t ride up when I sit down. It was in the sale for £40 the nice young woman assistant suggested a scarf which goes perfectly with it.
I usually buy my clothes in Asda or Sainsbury so it feels quite special and as I am smother you rounded person think it looks nice.
You will look nice in either Fanny. (Wish I was 5’4”).smile

Katek Fri 16-Sept-22 13:54:06

At 5ft (just, if stretch my neck) it would be trailing around my feet like a ball gown! Story of my life. Personally, I’d go for the autumnal colours.

NotAGran55 Fri 16-Sept-22 13:39:14

As an ‘autumn’ colouring Fanny it can only be the ? leafy one.
The others aren’t our colours.

Have a great holiday!

Visgir1 Fri 16-Sept-22 13:12:59

Get both try on select send one back?
That's if they do free returns?
Do that all the time.

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 12:17:04
