Hello
I’m thinking about buying this dress.
Which print do you prefer?
I can’t decide…
Thank you!

FC, I'll tell MrB you're to blame. Just ordered seaweedy. ?

Yammy Fri 16-Sept-22 11:30:37

The leafy one Fanny it's more autumnal. Though the pink would suit your bright and breezy personality as well.

SueDonim Fri 16-Sept-22 11:23:30

The second one, because I bought the first one a couple of weeks ago, with 20% off. We wouldn’t want to be at the same event in the same frock, would we? wink

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 11:23:12

And there we are ?‍♀️

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 11:22:25

Here, apologies if I’ve done it twice now blush

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 11:18:21

These are probably better
I’m definitely leaning more to the leafy one now

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 11:13:22

It’s for my holiday next week -which is as near as you can get to a proper staycation as you can probably get (not including camping in a tent in the garden of course)

Marmight Fri 16-Sept-22 11:12:26

The leafy one on the left. Other is too pink and flowery!

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 11:09:14

even the tunics have pockets

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 11:06:17

Yes, they are a really good fit. I find their stuff really flattering.
And the dresses almost always have pockets ?
I’m 5’4” and the midi dresses land about 3” above my ankles, which is the perfect length for me.
Maxi dresses tend to trail

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 11:01:28

There is size fit guide on the website under each garment. I find they come up true to size

Their coats are very good too.

SunshineSally Fri 16-Sept-22 10:59:41

OMG can you imagine how funny it would be if we all met up wearing the same dress!! ???

Normandygirl Fri 16-Sept-22 10:58:59

Never heard of this company before but like their stuff. How is the fit, are they true to size ?

SunshineSally Fri 16-Sept-22 10:58:31

Lol Fanny - are the sizes true to size? I’d have to go for petite as I’m only 5ft 2 - more oxo cube shaped lol. So regular dress lengths can sometimes make me look legless! ?

Baggs Fri 16-Sept-22 10:55:01

Oh dear! What a bad influence you are, FC! I might need that dress too. I'm more spring than autumn but am shifting to darkish reds as I age....

toscalily Fri 16-Sept-22 10:53:53

Fanny, I thought it was a leaf print but someone upthread said seaweed so I went to look on the website, and I'm still not sure if is leaves or seaweed but either way it is a nice dress smile

MerylStreep Fri 16-Sept-22 10:53:26

Fanny
I don’t see you in those colours. You have a bright spirit.
I can see you in this material I’ve just bought.

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 10:52:57

they were like these

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 10:51:29

Seasalt is one of those shops I don't mind spending more with as their clothes last such a long time. I bought some really simple jersey trousers and everyone comments how expensive they look grin and I just bought them for comfort

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 10:49:36

JaneJudge

I like the blue middi one better with the brighter pink flowers

Yes, I like the 70’s vibe of that one

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 10:49:21

If it fits nice, get both

FannyCornforth Fri 16-Sept-22 10:48:43

Thanks all!
SunshineSally I am far from slim myself, I’ll be buying a size 24 as I like things baggy flowy.

Baggs the leafy colours suit me best I think (I’m an ‘autumn’ in all those colour tests) but navy looks ok too (I have dyed auburn hair, a bit like that of my namesake’s)
In fact, I probably have too much navy.

toscalily Fri 16-Sept-22 10:48:29

I think the leaf print, a lovely autumnal dress.

SunshineSally Fri 16-Sept-22 10:47:37

Doh I meant seaweed ? Didn’t read it it - too busy admiring the print! ?

JaneJudge Fri 16-Sept-22 10:46:44

I like the blue middi one better with the brighter pink flowers
