I use a concealer by Ayu, it's an Irish brand and available online.
It was very highly rated and to be honest, I'm really happy with it...not only in use but it's a good price point too.

My favourite has always been YSL Touché Eclat.

Oreo Thu 12-Jan-23 16:06:25

I was bought the YSL one some years ago by DD, but it didn’t suit my skin, found it a bit heavy and obvious.

I find Touche Eclat highlights rather than conceals. I use Laura Mercier waterproof (useful if you perspire). Does the trick and stays put.

I was given a Clinique one. The very lightest touch, best on top of a patting eye moisturiser, very nice. makeup.uk/product/16568/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA_P6dBhD1ARIsAAGI7HATLRSovp5OTHT8N5Vi7ROVu323xkRjZATQBd8cpmCk6NBm8KcEK38aAvsrEALw_wcB

But first, the moisturiser for eyes: lots of good options, but nearly all of them, you have to avoid the eye themselves. I had a few facials and they used a pat of this:

www.dermalogica.co.uk/products/multivitamin-power-firm-eye-cream

its the only one I know that you can pat all over your eyes and it doesn't sting your eyes if it gets in. Its wonderful, makes a real difference and you can also use it around your lips to reduce fine wrinkles

but at that price, a total treat tho it lasts.

But its around £45 on Amazon.

Aha. And there's me thinking you were one of our Welsh fraternity🤦‍♀️
Oops.

I use Boots no 7

GagaJo Thu 12-Jan-23 16:50:17

I used to use Touche Eclat but the price put me off. I moved over to a much cheaper one from Collection, which worked just as well. It's now discontinued unfortunately, although I have 10 pens/tubes stashed in a draw. I'll have to find a replacement when I use that lot up though,

Llamedos13 Thu 12-Jan-23 18:55:19

ixion, No welsh in me, sorry. Irish but living in Canada.

The very best one I have found is Maybelline Eraser. I don't use the built in applicator but just take some on my finger and dab it on. It always has good reviews on beauty websites. Comes in lots of shades too apart from Fair.

Either Touché Eclat or the Tropic one.

Oregano Thu 12-Jan-23 21:55:04

I also use the Maybelline Eraser, lots of different shades to choose from and it really does work!

BigBertha1 Thu 12-Jan-23 22:42:02

Boots No 7 have a good one combined with serum it's excellent I like it better than Touche eclatwhich is powdery on me. It's cheaper too.

Suki70 Thu 12-Jan-23 22:50:56

The Maybelline eraser is the best one I’ve ever found and it’s reasonably priced too.

Llamedos13 Thu 12-Jan-23 23:24:13

Thanks everyone, think I’ll try the Maybelline Eraser. If it can erase my dark eyes I’ll be happy.

I use the maybelline eraser too for everyday use....its very reasonable...about £8 I think ..... for nights out I use a Charlotte Tilbury concealer....my DD bought it for me as its one she uses.... I'm guessing it cost a lot more that £8 tho

AskAlice Fri 13-Jan-23 11:28:51

Louisa1523 yes, the Maybelline one really is good value for money!

Oreo Fri 13-Jan-23 17:32:35

Thanks guys, bought the Maybelline eraser one today and it’s
really good.smile I look a bit less of a zombie now.

Oreo Fri 13-Jan-23 17:35:40

I bought the colour light it’s a slightly darker than fair but very similar.I may try a different one next time and dab a bit of both on.

Llamedos13 Fri 13-Jan-23 18:24:25

I just bought the light/medium, I’ll report back later. We are doing wonders for Maybelline concealer sales🤣

Llamedos13 Sat 14-Jan-23 03:42:04

Update…. Works great, super pleased with the results, really reduces the look of under eye dark circles.I took the sponge off and just dabbed it on using my finger. Didn’t see the need of the sponge really.

AskAlice Sat 14-Jan-23 11:10:32

Glad you both liked it Oreo and Llamedos13. It's great when something actually works!!
