Don’t believe everything you read on Trust pilot.

Eve Proudman is chair of the Institution of Trichologists, she’s not a miracle worker. If you have a condition that can’t be cured, it can’t be cured
I was lucky that whatever was happening to my hair could be cured. I was prepared for the alternative.

Someone asked where she is based, I think she hols clinics all over the country.

When she showed me the before and after pics, I cried, but then it turned to joy.

I forgot to mention my scalp problem. That’s cleared up in 6 months.

Primrose but the opening post, or indeed the thread, isn’t about The Hair Loss Clinic

It is very expensive. Take a look at reviews of The Hair Loss Clinic on Trust Pilot. Some very good, but quite a few disappointed people on there too.

It was featured for several weeks on TV last year.

I’ve been interested in looking into this but no one seems willing to give an idea of the costs involved. I’d hate to be embarrassed even further by discovering that I can’t afford to have even a first appointment never mind any subsequent appointments- if, anything can be done about my thinning hair : (

Where is this person located?

Fantastic Meryl. What a great feeling that must be. Too late for me but I hope your hair continues to improve.

That’s interesting. I am seeing a Consultant Dermatologist in June. I saw her last year and she was very thorough and I had scalp biopsies etc.

I asked about any shampoos that might encourage hair growth and she said there is absolutely nothing on the market that will do this so do not waste your money. She said there are shampoos that will help with skin conditions but nothing to help hair grow back.

Brilliant!
Mine was down to a vitamin D deficiency.
It was years (and probably £1,000 +) before I eventually found out.

I’ve recently heard a lot about scalp scrubbing to increase hair growth, so I’ve started doing it myself.

Hi Fanny
I havnt got a maneyet, but I never did have 😄
No pictures 😥
My hair started seriously falling out some years ago. One Dr said it was my B12 ( I have pernicious anemia. No it wasn’t.
Another Dr said it was my Thyroid. He upped that from 25mg to 50mg. That didn’t work.
6 months ago I noticed that my nails had stopped growing. Basically falling apart 😂

That’s when I decided to really do something about it.
My dear friend who is a style/hair/ makeup guru knew of this Trichologist.
She examined me and asked me to get a blood test for all sorts.
She has developed supplements and shampoo ( to keep your head ultra clean. Then there are the supplements she’s developed. So lucky for me it all worked.

Oh well done you Meryl smile
You must be absolutely delighted.
What was your ‘issue’? How was it rectified?
Can you show us any pictures?
(Sorry for all the questions blush)

For anyone who is serous about this problem I can 100% recommend this Trichologist.
It has taken 6 months but my hair is growing. It was amazing to see the blown up images of 6 months ago and now.
