Have been seeing some fab clothing on this site, has anybody bought anything from them? Looks almost too good to be true, my instinct tells me it is😳

Don’t go there. It’s tat from China, nothing like what you see in the ads. This has been discussed on here before.

Well there’s me told! Didn’t realise light in the box had been discussed before, I will make sure I check threads throughly before posting again.

Oh I didn’t mean it that way! Just that everyone was saying what I just did.😊

I’ve been stung a few times! Don’t bother…..

I thought exactly the same as you, that the clothes looked fabulous but remember reading various threads on here saying they’re actually not 🫣

It’s cheap tat and you don’t get a return address to send it back to. You have to email them and they never reply so you are stuck with cheap rubbish

For companies I don't recognise I always Google reviews. I did this for Light in the Box. Reviews are terrible. Beware!

I believe these cheap Chinese companies advertise on here under different names, but it’s all the same tat.
I remember one called Shein a while back which was discussed on here and quite a few posters made the same comment about the poor quality, urging others to avoid.

I’ve no idea why Gransnet allows these businesses to advertise on here.

I 'Trustpilot" every site before I use it... amazing what you learn on there... also companies house if it is a UK business!
I trust no-one and nothing!![wink😉

I wouldn’t buy from them nannylovesshopping but my DD does now and again and have to say she has had some nice things from them but the last dress she bought was twice the size it should have been!

Some years ago I was very active and involved on FB to try and get these adverts banned. I was banned twice.
I accumulated a lot of information. But like most of us involved I realised that we were wasting our time.
People believe the glam adds.
I do remember that there were 260? companies all owned by the same man.

I`ve recently bought 2 tunic tops from Light in the Box, and they`re lovely, nice material, and they`ve been washed several times, still as good as new. I`ve been looking on there today, actually, for an outfit for my grandson`s wedding.

You were lucky. If you had needed to return them you would have had problems. I have read so many bad reviews I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
