•Foxygloves•. I have just picked up 2 pairs of summer trousers from TU. I ordered size Regular but will have to take at least 3 ins off the leg length. I know I have shrunk a bit, but surely not that much?

Conundrum!

I hate T's that won't tuck in properly - seems everyone has T drama!

No, not making excuses or talking about how clothes “shrink” in the wardrobe between seasons
This is real
In my tedious quest for the perfect t shirt I saw Joules were doing a V neck version of a style I bought and quite liked two years ago. A bit tired now and these were on sale at two for £30 so I thought I was on to a winner.
Tried one on today and it was past my bottom and looked very baggy. I alas, have not shrunk so I laid it out on the bed with one of the “old” ones on top- the new one was at least 2” longer and good inch smaller . “pit to pit” on either side.
Dilemma- keep and expect it might shrink in the wash? Exchange for a size smaller and know it will shrink in the wash?
(Joules seems to be particularly prone to this problem, even my Harbour tops which are nice thick cotton have shrunk ☹️)
Or just send back. ✔️
BTW Tu at £8.50 for their boxy style seems to be winning the T shirt challenge so far- as long as you go down at leas 2 sizes!
