Hair colour advice please

I am an ex hairdresser and my advice would be maybe have a few fine hi lights put through then a toner pearl beige? Put on after.

The woman who does multiple tone balayage - volumizing on my silver hair owns the salon. I'd never attempt doing my own.

I’ve coloured my hair at home for years just the ones that gradually wash out. Fine.

I would avoid home hair colouring like the plague.

What about an intermediate stage where you have a very light streak almost framing your face?

Anyone out there with helpful suggestions?

Lemon juice will lighten your hair.

Using purple shampoo too often will darken any of the dark hairs that you have left so maybe use a clarifying shampoo in between.
