Help please.
A, B, or C ? No special occasion, just for outings.

semperfidelis Fri 30-Jun-23 14:19:14

B. I prefer the longer length. Worn with super clean white pumps/trainers. Both of the others need to be worn with heels, and I can't wear those any more.

C for me. It would mean I’d have to, wear my one remaining pair of shoes with slightly higher heels, so I wouldn’t be wearing it if I was walking any long distance.

I think A is lovely...

sazz1 Fri 30-Jun-23 13:50:17

A nice to just pop on for sightseeing shopping lunch out etc
B is nice too
Don't like C too flashy pattern

Cherylrov Fri 30-Jun-23 13:44:10

Would be A for me as casual but smart

Diplomat Fri 30-Jun-23 13:43:02

Personally I like B. So difficult to find suitable dresses. There are so few individual boutiques. Can anyone recommend something good online apart from the usual, John Lewis, Seasalt, White Stuff etc. ?

Wyllow3 Fri 30-Jun-23 13:13:38

The Folkloric Floral Maritime pattern, £67.

Wyllow3 Fri 30-Jun-23 13:08:36

I'd go to Seasalt

I prefer A - which I think you have chosen.

4allweknow Fri 30-Jun-23 13:03:31

A not for me with the tie in the middle ( or anywhere really). B for the tie at the neck. C would just scrape through if a solud or smaller pattern and didn't have flared end on the sleeves. Sorry, no help, These are really based on what would suit me and my own taste. You'll have your own taste and know what will flatter you.

Annie29 Fri 30-Jun-23 13:03:20

It's a B from me.

stewaris Fri 30-Jun-23 12:52:45

A for me but I'd change the belt.

Anniel Fri 30-Jun-23 12:45:30

I would go for,C. Colourful and striking. Otherwise B.

harrysgran Fri 30-Jun-23 12:38:36

Depends on figure really but if pushed C

Fae1 Fri 30-Jun-23 12:32:19

Don't like any of them. Not my style as they're all too 'fussy'. But we're all different.

grannybuy Fri 30-Jun-23 12:29:56

None look very expensive, but I’d go for B. The pattern of C is too big.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 30-Jun-23 12:27:50

I see. It was probably a good bargain. I wouldn’t call £171 expensive but we are all different.

FannyCornforth Fri 30-Jun-23 12:10:18

Germanshepherdsmum

Are you talking about Fanny’s dress? £65???

I think they are referring to Joseann’s which is £171 (in the sale)

Sarah72 Fri 30-Jun-23 11:56:36

If I wore a dress that cost that much, I’d be terrified about spilling coffee (or pasta sauce!!) on it, or some such!

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 30-Jun-23 11:43:52

But where were all these dresses made?

BigBertha1 Fri 30-Jun-23 09:54:06

Goodness me that is expensive for what it is. I think you can do better and spend less. My 2 new summer dresses are Finery and Boden combined they came to that amount. If pushed and you are OK with the cost it would be B for me.

Wyllow3 Fri 30-Jun-23 09:18:29

Germanshepherdsmum

None are ‘me’ but if pushed I would choose B if I could get rid of the tie at the neck.

Yes to that.

But I find them all a bit "fussy" as in the combination of style and print. I think dresses with a lot of print detail benefit from much simpler cut.

FannyCornforth Fri 30-Jun-23 09:12:03

Not really Shep!smile

It’s the style of dress that I like (slightly 40s / 50s, like Kirstie Allsop’s dresses) and I’m a big fan of vintage Corrie (haven’t watched it since the 90s though).

Maya1 Fri 30-Jun-23 09:02:43

I like A and then B.

It's so hard to know what dresses look like online, they can look so nice when you try them or on the other hand so awful.

Good luck.
