Big, mohair-type Winter cardigans and plenty of them.

If you are dealing with narcissism, let’s all help each other.
For me, cargo/hiking style trousers, with multiple pockets.
Big, mohair-type Winter cardigans and plenty of them.
Always drawn to stripes , I also like navy blue . Wool is a big nono for me the slightest bit makes me itch ! I also love my neck warmers ( from Patra) mace mainly from bamboo, they are not too baggy and very cozy! I have quite a few !!! I am always in trousers , might wear a long skirt - very long so I can go without tights - hate them!!
Dresses only! I’ve got smart ones, but mostly casual or smart/casual. I’ve just realised (why has it taken so long?!) that I have sensory issues and hate anything tight round the middle (hence I don’t feel comfortable in trousers or skirts since putting on weight). I wish I could wear skinny jeans. Even women of my age (nearly 70) can look lovely in skinny jeans - I’d look and feel horrendous. I have trouble wearing anything woolly/scratchy too, although usually labels don’t irritate me.
I love colour! Every shade of blue and green especially. Check shirts with jeans in Winter. Linen shift dresses, denim skirts with linen shirts in summer.
Beige, brown, pinks and purples are out.

During the Winter it’s Jeans various colours including Winter white …In the Summer I’m obsessed with Dresses esp Maxi’s👗👗👗
Jeans - well actually boot cut jeggings. I have several pairs and wear them all the time. Yesterday I want to a funeral wearing black ones. They are so comfortable.
downtoearth, I share your affection for navy and white stripes. Maybe I've overdone it a little because a recent encounter with someone I haven't seen in a while produced, from her, mock shock and " I didn't recognise you - no stripes "
Note to self - widen your sartorial horizons.

Apart from having too many clothes 🙄 I hate anything tight, itchy, scratchy labels (M&S are the worse), anything around my neck and frills (rather like you flappergirl)
I don’t like pastel colours and have stopped wearing black so much, I prefer deeper colours. That's interesting. Have you always been like this. I have, since I was a young child. My mother used to despair because she liked to dress me up. Most jumpers were wool then too. Clothes shopping takes me ages and I often come home empty handed.
I’ve even got clothes that don’t appear even mol itch that I can’t wear. And, it make me itch just thinking about it. Getting worse as I’m getting older. I’m thinking about taking an anti histamine every day.

Can I ask where you get yours from? The ones I’ve looked at online all seem to be quite tight fitting and my hiking trousers are quite loose.
MissA lovely to have you back posting
Ah yes.
I know the shade.
Cornèd beef Miss A

What colour are you legs, then?

I have noticed a theme with navy and I am a sucker for a white and navy stripe.

Jeggings, jeans in dark blue or black trainers, boots, I love jackets ,dresses with boots, biker jackets.
I have duscovered Snag tights they are sooo comfortable in thick denier,I thought tights where a work of the devil.
I wear knee length in winter with the afore mentioned tights, longer in summer the midaxi suits my short arse body as I hate the colour of my legs, just realised thats a lot of clothes I have.
If it fits, I wear it, these days.
I really dislike beige, though.

My mother would make me wear wool jumpers, trousers, skirts, everything she made despite it bringing me up in rashes. I remember my inner thighs rubbed raw . I had no choice.
I have never liked having tight tops pulled over my head- I was a breech birth so possibly that’s why. My mother made all our clothes, a brilliant seamstress but we did as we were told or else….☹️
M&S labelling drives me mad, so scratchy. I always cut labels out.
I do wear merino wool and cashmere occasionally but always with a collared, long sleeved shirt underneath, never next to my skin.
I’m another who dislikes, tights, leggings etc, I find them incredibly annoying.
So in winter I wear Nordic type woollen socks and summer bare legs.
I live mostly in trousers and wool or cashmere or alpaca sweaters, in winter. I do have dresses for smart occasions.
In summer, capri type or longer linen trousers with cotton/linen/silk tops for every day. I do also wear long (knee length) shorts of it is very hot, or very loose linen dresses.
My colours are spring so clear lighter colours although I love greens and blues.
Dopamine dressing for me. I wear what makes me happy, usually lots of bright colours. Shapes wise I like wide leg jeans and cords with poloneck tops and an M&S thermal top underneath!
I wear leggings with my walking trousers over the top. I feel the cold so badly. Realised I’ve got a long black hooded fleece at my house and one at my partners and no matter how many clothes I have with me I live in the black hoodie. When I need to look smarter I’ve got a newer long black hoodie that I put on.
Jeans and jumper or white shirts - flat boots and a nice coat. I can’t resist a coat! Now it’s cold black tights and wool dresses with a coat and flat boots. I really could get rid of a lot of my wardrobe when I think about it!
I wear thermal leggings under my trousers in cold weather ....... I buy them in M&S. They keep me nice and warm. I have also invested in M&S thermal sleeveless vests this year. They too keep me warm ...... I just wish they were a bit longer so I have more tuckage (is tuckage a word?)

Callistemon21 I really dislike tights, jeggings, leggings, wearing them gives me heebie jeebies and makes me uncomfortable and on edge.
Incredibly, I wear tights in winter, under jeans for warmth but wouldn't wear jeggings or leggings ever, even if given to me for free.
Yes, I did think about wearing thick tights under trousers today as it was so cold but then realised I'd thrown them all out.
Jeans, white shirts, boots / trainers, oversize jumpers, scarves in mine.I would wear black leggings - but I have a white-ish spaniel & dislike of lint rollers.
