You could look on Vinted . Last year I bought a mint velvet dress from vinted at a quarter of the original price .
I’ve also sold clothes on Vinted and prefer it to eBay . Downloading photos and describing the item is much easier on Vinted and they don’t take a percentage.

My future daughter-in-law is sourcing her little bridesmaids' dresses secondhand from Vinted.
Not sure about the big bridesmaids.

I've had my dress from Pretty Kitty, new but not expensive given the quality and it's one I'll wear again.

I bought a lovely Jacques Vert outfit for my daughter’s wedding which cost easily over £200 and I’ve not worn it since.
I’m going to sell it on eBay as others have suggested.

Like you patsy I have bought some lovely clothes from charity shops as well donating things of mine which both benefits the charity and I benefit too, everyone wins.

I get huge pleasure from buying good quality clothes second hand, more often than not from charity shops. Last year, I donated beautiful outfits, which I’d bought new many years ago, including accessories, so someone had a bargain and our local hospice benefitted. I would definitely take a look round Nannashirlz.

Try eBay many of the clothes on there are brand new or only used once for a wedding. I have been very lucky with purchases on eBay.

M&S hirestreet hire out clothes, not just M&S branded clothing. Ideal for events.

I have two dresses I wore to each of my dds weddings. M&S so not silly money but nevertheless worn only once.
I buy a lot of second hand clothes anyway so I wouldn’t have a problem with second hand.

Nobody will know if you dont tell them.
Or consider hiring your outfit, complete with hat and accessories.

My youngest son is getting married in July should have been a couple of years before but covid put a stop to it. My friend was saying I should buy second hand as I’m only going to wear once but I’d never thought of that or if I would. So what would you do
