My son getting married in July and I’m really stuck on what to wear for a beach wedding being the grooms mum. I’m online looking and in shops but I’m clueless what to get. Don’t want to go overdressed and don’t want to be underdressed. Anyone being to one and if so what did you wear lol

I'm going to one in a few weeks and I'm wearing a light chiffon dress from Gina Bacconi.

I wore a chiffon dress from Gina Bacconi last year to my son's beach wedding. I was very pleased with it. It didn't crease and was very comfortable to wear.

We live on the Devon coast and were invited to two beach weddings last year.
I looked at Aspiga, Moliin and Sahara. I agree with light and floaty.

Working on the assumption you'll be somewhere warm and sunny:
Sunscreen.
A hat to keep the sun out of your eyes and off your face if you'll be outdoors all day.
Possibly a long dress, with some sparkly flip flop sandals so you can easily kick the sand out of them!
A pashmina for when the sun goes down.
Have a great day 🥂

Yes Ive being looking at a few of Gina seen lots I like but I’m only 5.1 so loads too long for my body and no it’s a beach wedding here in the uk so I might need a brolly too lol

Nannashirlz, I'm only 5'2 and both my Gina Bacconi dresses were fine and didn't need to be taken up, much to my surprise.

If it's in the UK I'd wear a sou'wester and flippers and hope the tide doesn't come in!

Could you find out what others are wearing? It might give you an idea about how casual or formal it will be.

This is another old post- the beach wedding has been and gone but wonder how it went?
