Has anyone any tips to help me stop getting makeup on my clothes, please?

I don't wear much maje up - just a BB Cream, a bit of foundation, blusher and lipstick. The necklines of my clothes quite often get marked.

Am I using the wrong stuff, too much? Help.

Thank you.

Is it when you are dressing/undressing?

If so you could cover your head and face with a large scarf (chiffon I would suggest) to get dressed - as my mum used to do all the time, and i used to for dancing shows/theatre etc
.
likewise cover face and head to undress (but obviously tuck it in to your neckline to get undressed).

Yes I normally put an old silk scarf around my neck tucked into my top whilst applying my make up. Same routine in the evening when removing make up. It works for me and saves getting products on my clothes.

I don't mean that, sorry, obviously not very clear.

I meant this:

It protection make up and clothing.

My family had a "bride's mother" type shop from 1950 and chiffon scarves which were given to women when they went onto the changing room to try clothes on. They each had a clean one and the "used" ones were taken home every day to wash.
Some ladies brought their own.
I think they were chiffon as very fine and you can see through them.

Also, when modeling or dancing they were used in the same way - protect both make up and clothing.

Men's tissues are useful .
I haven't tried chiffon scarves - good idea.
I've got make up and fake tan off clothes with shaving cream .
I keep a can of it for just that purpose .
