"Liver spots"

I have a brown mark on my forehead which is not skin cancer (I had it checked out at the hospital dermatological clinic in the summer). Its what my grandmother would have called a liver spot.
I don't wear makeup, just a moisturiser and lipstick and my skin is quite good for my age, 85, as I'm lucky in having few wrinkles and lines.
I've tried various concealers in various shades, some recommended by young ladies at beauty counters, but they all want me to cover the rest of my face in foundation which I hate.
Any hints?

I have one on my forehead it’s sun damage but not dangerous. I don’t use foundation either so I moisturise that has SPF and ignore it as I’ve tried a few things and nothing makes a difference. I’ve learnt to live with it.

Have a fringe cut to hide it?

I have the same - you’re lucky it’s only on your forehead. I have it all over my face. I try to cover it with foundation - I dont think it works but I have stopped worrying about it.

I have loads of them on my hands which started appearing when I was about 40. At that time, due to my relatively young age (!), I thought they were freckles. I've had them checked and they're not worrying, but I just wish they weren't called liver spots ... or even age spots.

I have have one on my face for many years, used to try and cover it with Touche Eclat, tried things like Fade Out with no success. But on a whim have been trying azelaic acid 12% twice a day for the past 3 months, and it has actually shrunk to half size, hard to believe, but definitely much smaller, and a bit paler.

It can be related to low vitaminé C

I use Rosalique, it is a bright green colour out of the tube but then blends to skin colour. It definitely has faded the brown mark on my cheek, and minimised its appearance (it is not a concealer). It costs £30 but lasts for ages. Recommended for rosacea too. Bonus is that it is SPF 50.

I have one under my eye it’s blooming annoying as people keep telling me I ve got a smudge I ve tried many things and nothing has faded it or covered it so I just try and forget it and accept it
I call them sunspots (liver spots or age spots no uggg )

I have two on my cheek/chin. They only appeared in the last year. Having had a few skin cancers removed I am always very careful about checking and always use SPF50.

Aldi occasionally sells little tubes of BB cream for just a few £ and you just apply it to the mark. Covers quite well.

I also read that lemon juice applied to the mark daily helps to fade it, but haven’t tried yet.

I have several on my cheeks and forehead, but small and quite pale and I just live with them, though wish they weren't there.
Have never been a sun worshipper. There are those who are suddenly telling us that we should use high SPF all the year round as any kind of daylight can do damage, doesn't have to be sunlight. I've never bothered in winter, and take that with a pinch of salt, because if it were true surely we'd none of us have a square inch of unspotted face left.
