My cousin wears one but I never knew until recently. You would never know. A friend also wears one and it is incredible.

veejay - a few years ago, I had Alopaecia Areata (bald patches) .I used a spray - I forget what’s it’s called, but you can Google it. It looked quite natural and made my hair look really thick. I hope you find a nice topper. Good luck !

I'd try with amazon first, because they're very reasonably priced, and you can read others' reviews, and sometimes see photos of them.

They sell the lowest end, toppers, which are by no means always the worst, right up to the expensive, high end ones.

You may have to try a few different ones before you find the one for you, but the right one can be very realistic.

If you don't mind using YouTube have a search on there - there are a number of channels showing different toppers and how to fit and wear them properly. Don't know if any are UK suppliers though but it would give you an idea of some names to look for

Do not get anything cheap ; it is false economy . Try Simply Wigs in Huddersfield on line .

I have 3 wigs from Simply Wigs in Huddersfield. They are very good but I don't wear them anymore.

I am going to try a hair topper from Amazon as I think they will be less fuss to put on.

Some are advertised as 100% human hair, but for the prices they charge, I doubt it.
Anyway, I'll try one just to see.

I have this problem too and have bought 3 mid-priced toppers from various online suppliers. To be fair all are good and attach firmly. The issue is the colour. Trying to match my grey/white/brown hair has proved impossible. No matter how lovely the piece is, it does not match my hair so I would recommend visiting the retailer in person.

I wear one sometimes. I got a cheap one on e-bay (8.99). It looked too shiny, but if you spray it with dry shampoo it takes that away.
