Meghan swans into a Paris fashion show wearing a voluminous trouser outfit in white. For the first time, I'm close to awarding her douze points, and the fashion experts seem impressed too!

Just a shame the bodyguard with her wore a crumpled shirt and ill-fitting suit. Certainly no Frank Farmer!

I think she wanted to be noticed, and succeeded, but for the wrong reasons!

I often like what Meghan wears but I didn't like either outfit this time. I think the scraped back hair seems to be a look in her time. My daughter is a similar age so she and her friends often scrape their hair back. It isn't a look I'd go for but she wouldn't be seen dead with a fringe! Different ages, different tastes.

Looks like an early Halloween costume. 2 different coloured whites looks awful. Horrendous

I think all white is a good look if one wants to bring their inner Jedi to the fore, but well it's the light sabres, they don't fit in the average handbag shock

They should fit. When switched off they retract into the handle which seems to be quite small......

We have a Jedi amongst us!😁

Excellent! That's my Christmas present sorted smile

This outfit is also a trip hazard, so easy to trip over in it, especially if you are wearing shoes with spiky heels and spiky toes.

Looks like she's wearing her bed! I think 'fashion victim' might be the phrase I'm looking for1

May the force be with you.

Never heard of him before but yes, michelleblane you could be right. Perhaps the other blokes behind, dressed as if they're going to the pub, are bodyguards?

No, the "friend" was casually dressed and he sat beside MM at the event.

(Don't ask me why I'm even interested. Just whiling away a 9 hour ferry crossing here!)

Is that a bodyguard ? I thought it was her 'longtime friend' Markus Anderson. I read that he had accompanied her on the trip.

Missiseff Mon 06-Oct-25 14:59:32

Awful

Private security can carry guns in France, subject to certain conditions, so I guess she hired some armed security whilst in France.

FranP Mon 06-Oct-25 14:49:25

First thing I thought was that she looked tired and ill. Possibly she and bodyguard had been travelling, if he looked crumpled.

She looks as if she has lost weight, so possibly the outfit was a size too big, which it looks like. Yes, she could carry the design if it had been a smaller size

mokryna Mon 06-Oct-25 14:47:25

She was incognito so she. didn’t need the uk tax payer for a full security team and I hope I didn’t pay towards a French one Both her and H seem to pop over when they want to without any problems Did she come over in a private plane?

rowyn Mon 06-Oct-25 14:44:48

Give her a hot water bottle and she'd be ready for bed?

Mojack26 Mon 06-Oct-25 14:40:12

She looks a complete mess in my opinion

I’m sure most of us have seen some outlandish outfits on catwalks and thought “ who would wear that? “. Many of us today are thinking similar about Meghan’s white outfit. It’s an instinctive reaction - unless you actually like it. I never wear white. Apart from underwear, I don’t actually possess any white garments. I think that deeper colours suit me better, but I could be wrong. We don’t see ourselves as others see us!

Peaseblossom Mon 06-Oct-25 14:33:06

She is 5ft 6in so quite tall.

She never attempted to conceal the last two, only drew attention to them.

Cistercian Monk was my thought but the commitment to a vow of silence? Nah that wouldn't work! So it won't become a habit pardon the pun shock

Actually it is Trappists who are committed to silence, not Cistercians.

As to her garments, to me they look distinctly odd, unless she is trying to conceal an advanced pregnancy.

Sadie5803 Mon 06-Oct-25 13:20:31

Awfull, less is more as the saying goes
