Temporary hair colour for silver hair

My hair is now silver/white and I'm quite happy with it but sometimes I feel like a change.
Does anyone have experience of a temporary home hair colour that works on this hair type? I'm thinking of a warm blonde shade not a dark colour.

There is a hair mousse - Indola - which I bought from Amazon. It gives temporary colour which washes out. Please see photo. Not perfect, but is good for when you feel like a change!

I use that too (Amazon) but I get a lavender colour to enhance my grey/silver, rather than hiding it. It’s a mousse, but I still need a styling mousse to blow dry.

You could try a toner in an ashy colour. Works for me and lasts quite a few washes. However if you only want a very temporary colour this wouldn’t work.

Other retailers are available.

I've had this exact problem and on the advice of my nice I tried Shrine Drops (Superdrug) . You put 3 or possibly 4 drops into a white hair conditioner and slap it on for 10 minutes . It washes out gradually. It lasts 2 or 3 washes for me . I started off with 3 drops to try it , 4 gives a deeper shade . I used caramel . My hair is very white naturally. It takes it to a nice blonde shade . I didn't have any success with Indola but maybe it works better on shorter hair , my hair is quite long .
The drops last quite well and you can put a few drops in your hair conditioner and use each wash to maintain it if you want . It's so easy to use .

Thank you for your replies I will look at Indola and Shrine Drops. I don't want to enhance the silver I just feel like I would like a bit more warmth to my colour for some occasions.
My mother kept her auburn hair colour throughout her life but I think it must have been coloured professionally .Too late to ask her now!

Hairdressers won't dye my hair, they say it's a lovely colour and will be ruined. I have been told that semi permanents with no ammonia are good though. I went to buy one yesterday and chickened out. Will try Shine drops first.
Avitori there's things now I wish I had asked my mom, no matter how long they are gone.

My daughter mixed me some Shrine drops in a pretty shade of purple just to try. The colour lasted about 10 days, but I wash my hair every day. I loved it but my husband wasn't keen.

I have ordered both Indola and Shrine Drops. Looking forward to trying both and I will let you know what I think about my results.

I have now tried Indola and Shrine Drops both very easy to use.I used,Beige Blonde,Indola and Champagne Blonde,Shrine Drops.
Both are incredibly easy to use.Shrine Drops made very little difference to my colour .I will try again using more drops next time. Indola came out quite dark and a bit ginger but natural looking. I think my new hobby may be changing my hair colour to suit my mood.
