Clothing for plus-sized men

Many of us have difficulties over what to buy for our menfolk for Christmas, but i have and additional problem - my son in law is a large lad 4X and I want to buy him a nice woollen jumper. I know he doesn't like round or crew necks, so have been searching for large vee-neck sweaters in colours other then black or navy.
All the sites for large men I find are cheap, poor quality, drab offerings - and none have vee necks.
Quality sites like Tryfords and Woolovers don't go higher than 2X or 3X and don't make V necks.
Any suggestions?

What chest is 4x please?

Try big dude clothing. It’s a UK site. Cotton traders stock 4xl for men too.

ExDancer my DH had abdominal surgery in 2017 which left him with a large hernia. He couldn't get anything to fit and gets all his clothes from the above site. They go up to as much as 10XL.

Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren and Gant all do 4X

Also be careful not all 4xl sizes are equal my DH usually has 4xl but in some brands I size up check the measurements for the sizing especially with designer makes for instance a 4xl is usually a 58/60 inch chest Hugo Boss 4xl is 50/52
Jacamo usually have a decent selection
You might also find something on Raging Bull

Both Next & M&s have v necks in 4xl different colours....I bought 2 Next jumpers for my 2 s i l they are very well made

If you shop online, Premier Man sizing goes up to 5XL. Their sizing is very generous. I have bought stuff from them before, and Jacamo also online goes up to 6XL

This was exactly my thought rosie1959 and asked about chest size.

I’d recommend Jacamo but watch the sizings. My husband is a 2XL in M&S but XL in Jacamo, so as has already been said go by his chest size.
There’s also a company called Bad Rhino, it’s part of Yours, and goes up to an 8XL.

Apologies
My time and temper are in short supply just now - will you believe our central heating has broken down and the system's so old that spares are unavailable!
We've been without heat for 6 days now, well we do have electric fires, but I'm cross eyed with staring at this screen looking for spare parts and have abandoned social media for the last few days.

Many thanks for your replies, its been very rude of me to leave them unread.

Sadly I have already tried most of the sites but will look at the couple I've not come across NOW.

DD and SIL live 200 miles away so I can't measure him, but would estimate his chest to be 58 to 60 inches. My daughter says he needs 4 to 5XL

Asos has a big and tall collection and is "younger person" friendly.

Wow - thank you all. I've found a nice cheerful jumper but sadly couldn't find and vee-necks. They don't seem to be making them any more.
But the purchase has been made and I think he'll like it.

Be careful with Cotton Traders - their jumpers and shirts are too short for DH.
