I just love Levi's. Huge range of styles and they alter them to suit. Perfect!

I’m 5’2”, size 10 and always buy Tu at Sainsburys jeans, in Short Length. They are perfect for me and a sensible price too. I often need to order online but sometimes strike it lucky in their supermarkets for jeans.

M&S petit sizes are good

I'm 4' 10 and a half. I never find jeans or trousers that dont need taking up, or a jut roll them a little. Even at 25" they can be just a tad to long. Doesn't help that I am also a size 18-20. All jeans and trouser manufacturers seem to think if you are a size 16 or over you are also at least 5'10".

I am 5'5" and fibd leg length on trousers a nightmare. Thought I had found the prize with a pair of Next petite length. Ordered a subsequent pair and they were longer than the first pair, just can't win! I really sympathise with those shorter than I am.

I am just 5 feet tall, and have always used Bon March for the 25" length. Glad to read this post and find Chums and Halara, so I'll have a bit more choice!! Thanks.

I'm 5 foot and find Robell trousers are perfect. I especially like their Rose 09 style. Not having to shorten them is wonderful!

Buy Levi's from a Levi's store - they will shorten jeans for you if they are too long.

Yes I am 5 feet nothing too and many places M and S included shortest leg length is 27 or 28 inches and mine is 25 inches. I have a lovely Lady who does alterations for me. I also find that cropped Summer trousers are a perfect full length for me, Winter ones need loads taken off.

I'm 5 feet nothing size 12, 25 inside leg and find the Roman jeans are fine. Interesting that M & S seem to have the thumbs up as I've yet to find any of theirs that fit and to be too wide on the thighs. I will look at the other suggested sites. Oh to be a normal height with normal size feet

I’m 5ft 1
I’ve found the best jeans for me are M & S; all styles come in different leg lengths; I’ve found that their short leg is best.
Also Matalan, different leg lengths available.
You may have to try a lot of different styles, sizes & lengths before you find the one for you

I’m half an inch smaller than you and I find M&S short length still too long.

Incidentally re Asda jeans I bought a pair in a charity shop a few months back. They are the wonder ones with stretch and curve fitting. Although they needed altering they are a great fit otherwise. So much so I went and bought the blue denim ((charity shop ones were black) and I love them.

Love the choice on the Halara site Sago thanks for sharing.

Bon Marche, and Chums both sell 25 inch leg length jeans.

I recently bought some pull on jeans from Cotton Traders. I’m 5ft 2. They are so comfortable, and there’s a choice of leg length and style. 27in is just right for me. They sound very ‘old lady’ ish. But with a top over the waist they look like ordinary jeans.

I’m 5’2 and a 12 and m & s is my go to for jeans . As their short length is ideal for me. I have loads from them , different styles and washes . I also scour vinted for 28 “ leg Levi’s . Next is also does a short leg .
A good tip is to try different pairs of the same size as they do vary a small amount. And the fit varies with the wash. A darker wash can come up smaller than a lighter wash .

I'm 5ft4 and a size 10/12, Asda have a huge range of jeans at the moment, lots of colours, styles and sizes. I found a nice stylish pair. There's a range of prices, good value.

Halara jeans, excellent quality and they do a petite range.
Online only.

I miss BHS too.
Not so keen on Bon Marche personally, but I know several people who buy a lot of clothes there.

TheSunRisesInTheEast Thu 12-Mar-26 19:53:12

I miss Bhs for clothes, used to love their Wallis sale rail. I now get several pieces from Bon Marche. Their Sara straight leg jeans are really comfortable, sizes 10-28, four leg lengths - 25in, 27in, 29in & 31in and for the very reasonable price of £20 😀.

I’ve had the same search! ( I’m also 5’1) . I think it depends on your shape and proportions. - I quite like a slim leg but was lucky to find a slim flare shape in M&S ( short length) that isn’t too flappy and looks tidy- (50 years since my last pair of flares!) - but I see they went into the sale! However they do both short and extra short.

I am 5’ 2” currently in my wardrobe I have jeans from The White Company, Boden, Hobbs and M & S. Different cuts/styles from skinny through to wide leg.

You really have to go out in comfy easy to remove clothes wearing the heel height you want to wear with the jeans.

Good luck

I’m 5”1’ and size 10! I’m struggling to find comfortable but still stylish jeans. Anybody found the elusive perfect jeans for us ladies of a smaller stature please!
