T-shirts bras

The answer to the OP depends a great deal on her size.

It seems she has been helped already though.

I am still a bit confused, as I always thought that the definition of a T shirt bra is that it is padded to hide nipples, as butterandjam hilariously put it! I would find that most embarrassing!

NotaGrannie

M&S Flexifit bras

The are smooth and come in different styles, some pull on style, others with the usual back fastenings

I wear them all the time

I love the Flexifit bras but can't wear them because the straps are too short and can't be adjusted. Sainsbury do some that are also soft and stretchy but I have the same problem with those. I think they are all made for shorter ladies 🙁

I've got some unpadded jersey ones from Sainsburys, I think they were in a pack of 2,one white one grey.

Our daughter swears by Primark bras.

T-shirt bras only exist so that women can pretend they don't have nipples. Because we've been trained to believe only tarts and prostitutes reveal their nipples. Respectable ladies do not.

I'm more worried about the sight of my ankles unleashing such uncontrollable male lust it would serve me right if I got ravished at the bus stop. That's why I always wear sanitary pads taped round my ankles.

Miss Mary of Sweden have smooth bras without padding, ideal for under T shirts. Not cheap but they wash and wear well.

I bought some from M&S that zip up the front after having a shoulder joint replaced and can't believe how comfortable they are. They are quite deep at the front but have been great.

If you have a large bust a shelf-bra is a bit of an odd shape I find.

Thankyou for all your suggestions. You are all so helpful. I am looking at conturve and the one on Amazon.

This is a really helpful thread with many suggestions. There must be the perfect design out there somewhere, but then again I guess everyone is a different shape and size! I am staying at a friend's for the weekend and I will even wear my bra vest under my pyjama top because we lazily take breakfast out on the patio in our nightwear and it will look a lot nicer!

I wear Conturve and find them comfortable and supportive.

I bought some stretchy bras from John Lewis which fit really well.

It’s not really a bra as such but more of a double lining with a supporting and supportive elasticated band, so not padded cups like some are.

I bought some Vislivin cotton tank top vests with what’s called a “shelf bra” built in. They’re so comfy and have wide shoulder straps. From Amazon.

I use M&S tee shirt bras and they seem ok. I wear them all the time not just under tee shirts so my boobs don’t look too booby if you know what I mean.

MartavTaurus Thu 16-Apr-26 20:42:32

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but a few weeks ago I bought a white M&S vest with a built in bra. It's very supportive and looks really smooth under tops and t shirts. I think I saw them there in black too.

I’m not much help, as I prefer a padded t shirt bra, but I did find this recent article, which might help with your search..

Tanith. I have found nearly all the T-shirts bras are moulded. Looks so unnatural and at 38f I definitely don’t need padding !!

valdali Thu 16-Apr-26 20:36:59

Whats a Tshirt bra The ones I used to wear have less seams & no lacey bits so they look smooth under jersey.

But they didn't fit well. Now I wear dark, non-stretchy, fairly heavy - guage T shirts & a normal bra.

Lilypops Thu 16-Apr-26 20:35:17

Aely A T-shirts bra is one that is smooth and won’t show any pattern , lace through a T-shirt. It should give a nice shape

tanith Thu 16-Apr-26 20:31:12

I've tried different ones but they all seem to have some padding and just don't fit me right.

Aely Thu 16-Apr-26 20:27:07

Sorry to have to ask, but what exactly is a T-shirt bra?

Lilypops Thu 16-Apr-26 20:24:14

I need to find a T-shirts bra that’s not padded, fits well, and gives a nice shape, I have M&S T-shirts bras but they never seem to fit right, Any suggestions please where to find one.
