Pink powder under eyes, as blusher too

I can't remember where I saw a lady brush pink/baby pink (like eyeshadow) under her eyes to brighten skin there, then swish it on as blusher. It looked very minimalist but beautiful too. Can anyone remember seeing this too?

Sorry, I should have asked if anyone has done this? I’m keen to try it but don’t want to spend a fortune. Benefit do a mini pink blusher that seems reasonable and not too much of a waste if it’s a mistake!

Buy some cheapies in Primark to see how it goes.

Padine I saw an Instagram ad of a woman doing exactly that (including under her eyebrows) with a "stick" - it isn't powder, and it takes on colour from the Ph of your skin.

I bought it and have used nothing else (so no lipstick or blusher required). It gives my face and lips a sheen, I don't wear a lot of make-up generally but I don't like looking 'washed out' either. Not sure whether this is what you mean.

It's called Wonderskin.

Thanks for the ideas. The instagram looks good but not sure about such a dark colour for my skin tone. I’ll get a cheapie and give that a go.

The dark colour is not how it looks on one's skin! It is a light rosy pink on me. smile

It reacts differently to every person's skin, depending on the ph levels.

I’m sure it looks lovely on you but applying make-up is not a skill of mine and I’d probably end up looking like Pennywise 😁

I have a few tricks up my sleeve !

Frankly it's best to try with a less expensive blusher first before you make an expensive investment .
Try to buy the correct pink for you.
All colours are blue or yellow based and it's the same for our skin -that's why sometimes people will compliment you on a particular shade of dress and at other times think that you look ill.
If you aren't sure I'd buy a yellowy apricot blush and a mauvey pink one as well .

When applying blush always flick the excess off on the back of your hand then apply .
Otherwise it will make you look clownlike!

Sorry !

Always let your make up settle before you go out and tissue off any excess -that way you'll look polished and groomed .
