Hi Bags, I've just tested this, and you're absolutely right. Thanks so much for letting us know.

We'll ask Tech to take a look when he has a moment. In the meantime, you might want to set the number of posts per page to the maximum, as at least then you should be on the right page?

I haven't had a problem since I got rid of bookmarks, Bags. I know that's not much help, but I did exactly the same as you and everything's back to normal now...confused

NANACHRISSY thanks i have had a look but think I will have to study it a bit . I am in the middle of getting packed and everything ready for hols -going tommorrow so when I return in a month will give it a good old look smile

Nonu at the top or bottom where it says Page 1 , it also says Flip/Customise. Click on Customise and it explains your options. smile

They won't take you to the latest post as long as you have the bookmarks on, as the instructions are then at cross purposes.

Having worked out how to use bookmarks on GN, I now find that the threads on which I used them insist on taking me to page 2 in spite of my many times saved instruction to take me to the latest post. I've switched the bookmarking facility off and saved it several times. Humph.
