Yes, I'm not convinced either, Elegran. It sounds as though there is an easy automatic way to bypass the capchas which defeats their purpose.

Yes that clarifies it, but now I wonder whether the automatic robots (which they are trying to exclude by having something that a human has to read) are also able to use something like that - which means that the capchas are not secure at all.

The software doesn't bypass the captchas, it runs a program that fills them in for you! You just double click in the box and a little icon somes up showing that it is being read and then the captcha is magically typed out for you! I am pretty sure it is as secure as typing them in yourself but without the inconvenience. Hope that helps clarify!

I was sure it couldn't be just me with a problem with those terrible things! I am just getting used to using the internet so everything is a bit confusing for me but I am really enjoying forums. Its so nice to actually speak to real people on a computer. I always thought of it as more of a solitary pursuit but, clearly I was mistaken!
