I have been using Microsoft Office 2010 for a couple of years and am finding that the Word 2010 application is playing up by losing bits of documents with increasing frequency. Do I have a rogue version or is that a feature of this particular version?

Usually a genuine copy of Microsoft Office shows who the owner of the product is e.g 'This products is licensed to...' 2010 is still an up to date version, so there shouldn't necessarily be any reason for it to play up. Perhaps you may need to tidy up some files? Maybe it's trying to work with too much data? It's hard to be sure for certain.

If you are finding that other programs on your computer are slowing, you could always disc clean and defragment your computer using system tools.
