Does a problem with a camera go here?

Last time I used my camera - a not very new Kodak V610 - it jammed on closing.
Took it to Boots, who don't fix cameras any more. They did get the pics off it onto a CD....my computer won't access this, but that's another story and I think it's a driver.

Is this sortable?

I have just found 3 sites with a down loadable? drivers for that camera.
see below

www.nodevice.com/driver/V610/get35774.html

download-driver.downloadiw.com/13701/Download_Kodak_V610_Dual_Lens_Digital_Camera_Firmware_1.02_driver_software_35540.html

drivertools.com/drivers/multimedia/kodak-v610-dual-lens-digital-camera-1-02/

Good Luck! Let me know if they work.

Thanks Nellie I may be able to access the pics, will try.
No other puter available at the moment, and I am not very mobile, haven't been to Oxford in ages.

The camera however is just thoroughly stuck.........it says Error 41 on the screen, I think, but that isn't in the book!

Google "photo programmes for pc" or "photo programmes for mac". Download or buy one. Then you'll be able to manipulate your photographs, including rotating them until they are the right way up.

I have a mac and use Aperture.

If you take your camera to a dedicated camera shop - usually a smaller independent - they will be able to tell you if it's fixable.

Few and far between since the Jessops chain went bust sad

I think there are still a few Jessops branches left. Just a thought - is the battery fully charged?
