I at the moment are using a normal desktop, with XP, but plan to buy a piccolo or midi desktop due to my new location and bedsit size here in Brackley .
Has anyone got one and have experience of use?
I am upgrading to widows 7 as thhis is more relaible than windows 8.
I also today have been told to use the Microsoft security essentialls a free download with microsooft , as its better than Norton,AVG ,and Mcafee.

We have used just laptops for years, from when we were both working. They take up little room and, with a wireless connection, can be used anywhere. Love the lack of cables!

Yes, Same thing in a smaller box. You can't have specialist "add-in" cards in them, they're just too small.
Windows 8 is reliable, it's just horrible. Microsoft having a bad attempt to be like Apple.
Microsoft Security Essential is fine. It is not better than the others but it is free. I have used it for years and by, using my head, not opening un-recognised emails and not clicking on links I'm not certain of, I have been virus free.
