Having got through 2 Hp deskjet printers in 12 years (admittedly one was 2nd hand and not a good buy!) I'm in an absolute quandery as to know what to buy next. The price of ink cartridges seems scandulous, and HP seemed to drink them.
All I need is a good basic printer,I have a scanner but it's such a faff to scan and print that I'm tempted to go for a multi option. Having said that I don't want an all-singing-all dancing model.
I need a printer for photo copying the multitude of documents the French government require for absolutely everything, printing off MS Word docs and occasionally family photos... although I'm as guilty as everyone else and store most of my pics on a memory stick.
I'm looking at Canon's range at the mo. Particularly the Pixma 2450... seems suitably cheap and cheerful.... anyone's else had expenence of Canon printers, especially re cartridge replacement rate and price? Your suggestions would be a great help...... don't really trust review sites
