Latest upgrade to operating system for ipad. It took three hours to load on our pathetic broadband.

IOS8 is the lates operating system from APPLE. I like the vioce memos but the new predictive text is driving me to drink!
My icons on my iPad have all gone strange but are ok on my iPad mini. The wi fi also keeps dropping out on the iPad.

How are people getting on with this? So far, I have failed to find any advantages and am deeply irritated by the extra clicks associated with bookmarks and the fact that the back arrow at the top of a page also needs an extra click.
What do other ipad users think?
