Obviously texts to other users are free. But are they free to to users in other countries? This would only be to the EU.

Yes as far as I know whatsapp is entirely free. I use it to contact my family all over the world and so far no charges incurred.

Yes Whatsapp is free worldwide as the messages are sent over Wi-Fi. You will have to pay if you use mobile data (3g etc) to send or receive the message.

We have no mobile signal in our house so Whatsapp is a godsend!
