New Laptop with Windows 10

My present laptop has just about had it now, the lid is broken and to be honest it's looking quite scruffy, and I'm still on Windows 7 (which I love). I have decided to go to Currys/PC World on Saturday for another one. I assume they will load Windows 10 on the new one but my concern is whether I will still be able to have Google Chrome. If this is possible does it work OK with Windows 10?

Yes Sherish Google Chrome will be fine.
Windows 10 works much like 7, it just looks snazzier.

Thanks for your reply. I feel easier about it now. Onwards and upwards!

We have just come back from Currys/PC World to buy DH a new lap top as his was dying. It was preloaded with Windows 10 and other software price £45 extra. They say you have to wait 24hours for them to load it- tell them your friend (i.e. me) bought an already loaded one and didn't have to wait from Fosse Park in Leicester today. It was an HP Notebook 8MB ITB total price £350.

I would avoid Currys/PC World. Go to John Lewis, prices usually the same with a much more knowledgeable and helpful staff.

If you like playing patience on your computer then you will have to pay for the pleasure with Windows 10.
