Tesco have stopped making the HUDL 2

My DD has bought a Samsung Nook tablet for my DGD for Christmas. She thinks they are very good, and she researches these things very well. They look good, see what you think.

I was going to get DH a HUDL 2 for Christmas but have just found Tesco have stopped doing them. I need to find an alternative for him, something he can email from, access You Tube etc and play Mahjong. Am thinking of the fairly new 10" Kindle. Does anyone have one of those or an idea for an alternative please.
