Has anyone any experience of trying to get their messages onto the computer?
I know there's a 'New PC Studio' you can download but it sounds very complicated.....

You should be able to plug your phone into the PC with USB and transfer them directly. I have a Samsung if I get time later I'll give it a try and let you know.

Hi - most tablets come with a USB charger/pc connecter cable that you can plug straight into your pc. Then your tablet shows up as an extra drive on your pc that you can transfer files to and fro from. If your tablet does not have a detachable cable a lot of the mobile phones ones will fit and work. You do not normally need a special prog to transfer your files.

oldkranky - do not assume that everyone has a tablet.....
I have desktop and Samsung phone which I have just been told is smarter than I thought.

Tanith, my charger isn't one of those.

Looks like I either get a cable, or try for an updated PC Studio program.
I just want to save some messages I have received, so I can free up my phone memory....

I use the app 'mySMS'. You can download it onto your phone, tablet and pc. Set it as your default for SMS and your messages will be mirrored on them all.

Okay, thanks folks - I will work something out.
