Has anyone else noticed that when you enter your details on your iPad or iPhone the date of birth box only goes back to 1947? Some of us were born earlier!!!

That’s odd! It’s a few years since I first had an Apple ID but don’t recall this at all and I would have needed an earlier date. So many elderly people have iPads as they are so easy to operate.

Why don't you get in touch with Apple support and ask them about this? They are very helpful on the phone and will arrange to call you back so it won't cost you anything.

I started to set up a query then thought it would look odd if I was actually asking on behalf of other GNs (I am able to enter the correct year of my birth). When you get a reply, I'd be really grateful if you could post it on here, it may help others.
