Facebook and people following you that you don’t know

Have just had a link on Facebook from a friend. Go to setting and under blocking type in following me. I then had a real shock, have just blocked 20 plus people all unknown to me that are following me v v creepy. Please check

It's a hoax Hildagard and has been doing the rounds on Facebook periodically for some time.

You can easily restrict who is able to follow you on Facebook by doing the following:
Go to settings, select Public Posts, then at the top you can select who is allowed to follow you, friends or public.

Take no notice Hildegard just keep your settings to family and close friends and you will be fine it’s nothing to worry about these people CANT follow you or see anything about you if your settings are not public it’s a fake scarer

Bathsheba is right. I know it looks frightening but it is a system thing and they are not really following you.
