Fake e mails

Has anyone else received very official looking letters from well know organisations saying they have purchased something they haven't. I was almost sucked on, but then deleted them, they were do convincing.

Whenever I get one of these emails, before deleting it, I add both the sender and the sender's domain to my blocked list.

many of the actual companys /organizations have a "report-scams,phishing etc email.
go to actual site or search for it
you will send them a screenshot or the url of the bogus letter
its something of an ongoing thing but does help to protect youself and others to some extent.also its on record that you were"attacked"
