Volume missing on laptop taskbar

Tried
properties=customise but the volume is stuck on off

Tried turning the laptop off.

Tried control panel
volume-shows_"show icon and notifications

Tried show all notifications on the taskbar

Tried system icons on and off

Tried -restore default icon

Does anyone have any ideas

It's back on the taskbar.

At a complete loss as to what happened.

Glad it sorted itself out! I find it easier to use the F7 and F8 buttons on top row of keyboard to adjust the volume.

I borrowed it. But it didn`t fit my tablet so I put it back.
