Thank you! I think I will consider this.

Thanks Gothatshirt - would you be able to send it again please - I can't seem to find it.

I have sent you a personal message Vicky as I thought it more appropriate than posting an offer of a sale here. If you are interested in a second hand one I may be able to help.

Vicky108, Thats a shame, i think the Nintendo switch maybe has taken over from the Wii U.
Its good for family games nights.
Not quite mastered it yet though.

Thank you - but I just looked that up and it seems to be discontinued too.
I just want to get the games and consul where you can move around, not just sit in front of a screen.
The wii was so popular that I thought other companies would make similar things, but no luck so far.

Wii u replaced the wii and some games are interchangeable.
Our family love it.

Thank you so much, fizzers, that sounds ideal. I will investigate them further.

you could buy a Wii from CEX, some of their games consoles are in immaculate condition, and they are under warranty, so if there is a fault it will be refunded.

As a family we all used to enjoy the wii, but the one we had has now got lost/broken. I am looking to buy something now to replace it, the wii itself doesn't seem to be available new anymore (and very expensive and risky to buy second hand). Can anyone recommend something similar - ie that you can move around with, play tennis, bowls etc? I find technology rather difficult, so any advice or guidance would be great.
