Haven’t come across that one but as you are with EE why not give them a call just to check. Have you downloaded any new apps this month? They can gobble data without you being aware.

Sorry if you've come across this one before.

I had a text purporting to be from EE saying that I'd used 80% of my monthly data. Thought it odd but ignored it. 20mins later, during which time I hadn't even touched my phone and was next to my wifi another text said I'd used 100% of my data and to click the link to purchase more data for this month. Obviously I didn't click.
I have had a mobile for many years and have never got anywhere near my monthly data allowance
