My dad has never been good at spelling/reading/following written instructions.Hes 85 and mum did everything, but mum isn't here any more.

My brother put him Netflix on the tv, even printed easy instructions out as how to get onto Netflix etc.

But once dad has pressed wrong button on the small netflix remote thats it! he cant figure out how to go back n forth so ends up just watching normal tv.

It suddenly struck me today whilst I was there, would he manage the Voice control remote so he could say "Netflix" and somehow manage it from there.

Has anyone go a voice command for Netflix or similar.

For other shrewd TV models, you can associate your TV with Alexa utilizing an Alexa Voice Remote or a brilliant speaker, for example, your Amazon Echo or Echo Show. In any case, except if your TV upholds form 5.3. 0 of the Netflix application, at that point you can't control Netflix with voice orders.

I've a got a firestick, I think that it's similar to the Chromecast.
I've only used it a couples of times, but it was very easy.
Note to self - must utilise it more.
