DH always says get the most you can afford as when there are system updates they invariably use more memory than the previous versions.

I’m thinking of replacing a very old MacBook . I don’t really need it for anything except uploading photos from a camera and editing them, as I do other things on an I pad. Can anyone advise on how much memory would be best to get.
