Microwave

I had a perfectly good microwave oven from Morrisons of all places. Had it about 4 years or so and when I went to use it the other day and the start button was completely stuck in and couldn't be budged. Enter DH who did various things to try and coax it back out. I told him to hang on a bit and I would try with my tweezers. However he couldn't wait for me to find them and we now have a gaping hole where the button was! New microwave now needed methinks - anyone got any recommendations please? It's such a shame to buy a new one though as this one was fine prior to the button thing. I don't really use a microwave much, just for warming things up, so I don't need an all singing all dancing one.

I think the cheap supermarket ones are fine, as you found with your present one. Mine from Asda is still going strong after 22 years. I prefer dials to LED display, they seem to be foolproof!

I have a Sharp one and have had it for 22years. I ‘inherited’ it off dad who had bought it 10 years before.
