Windows is the operating system. It's possible that the browser (for the internet) isn't properly installed. Do you have Chrome?

Do you have an internet browser installed? If not and you don't know how to do it, I would definitely advise looking in the small ads in your local paper and paying somebody for a couple of hours to help you.

Is it running on Windows11? It sounds like what you need is a Windows 11 tutorial, there are many on YouTube but you’ll probably find they’re already available on your laptop if you open the programs menu.

Log on to the internet.

Google "ITV hub" and follow the instructions.

Same with iplayer. Log on to the BBC homepage and in the bar at the top, it says "iplayer" - click on it and you're ready to go.

You don't need separate apps.

There must be people locally who you can pay to come and sit with you for an hour or two. Have you tried contacting HP and asking for help? Too late now, but Apple run free classes. If you have an iPhone and iPad why did you buy an HP laptop? I just use my iPad with a keyboard case.
