Face recognition and credit card on I phone

I am Cabernet having these on my phone in case I lose my phone or if I could be scammed. Is there anyone who understands these things please.

I pay for everything using my phone, with facial recognition I think it is the safest way to pay, no one can access the credit card without using your face to unlock it.
